The Symposium will explore the latest models of university engagement developed by leaders in the sector, for the sector. It will also include an international webinar exploring the latest strategic planning inventory tools designed to benchmark critically engaged universities – particularly relevant now that the Carnegie Classification Engagement Australian pilot involving 9 Australian universities is underway. Importantly the Symposium will give senior leaders, executives and managers in universities the opportunity to contribute to the evolving agenda around engagement.
The Critically Engaged Universities of the future Higher Education Symposium will enable the next generation of engaged scholars and leaders of institutions to harness and capture the social capital needed to step their universities from agency to action.
