Axiom Connected – Australian Launch Celebration

In late January Charles Sturt University celebrated the arrival of leading global industry partner Axiom and the establishement of its Australian headquarters at the Port Macquarie Campus.

Axiom Connected is a global tech firm which provides solutions in finance-tech, automotive-tech, insurance-tech, and is emergent in agricultural-tech. The company has offices in London, Belarus, St Louis, Chicago, and Warsaw, and it the creator of the world’s first completly digital connected warranty platform

Axiom Co-Founders, CEO Michael Reth and CTO Sergey Abrosimov arrived from the United States and London for the launch event with over 140 government, First Nations, industry and education leaders, students and staff attending the celebration. Director of External Engagement for Port Macquarie campus Kate Wood-Foye was joined by Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Professor Mark Evans and Chief Development officer Mr Tom Burton to welcome and introduce this exciting new partnership and the promising opportunities to the extended regional community.

Mike Reth spoke about how the Axiom and Charles Sturt relationship is just beginning and that it will enable university to collaborate on significant projects in research and development and to create a locally educated pipeline of technology and business graduates into real world technology roles with global connections in Port Macquarie.

This event celebrated the significance of Charles Sturt University and Axiom establishing its Australian headquarters with partnership enabling education and employment opportunities for students, graduates and staff and will deliver positive economic benefits to the broader Port Macquarie Hastings community and Mid Coast region
