Engaged Universities: The Next 20 Years

What is the function of a University? During a time when society is facing challenges that demand the questioning of dominant values and established ways of being, a reinvigoration of purpose and function of the University is necessary.

Supported through the Accord process, Australia is collectively re-imagining the purpose of higher education where community engagement and work for the public good is seen as the vital third pillar on what we deliver.

The 2023 sector leading Engagement Australia Conference will examine this redefinition of purpose across a number of workshops, plenaries and sessions.

Another feature is the extremely high quality of keynote addresses by nationally and internationally recognised and respected commentators and opinion leaders on these issues. The Conference represents an ideal opportunity for your organisation to be an integral part of this event and to demonstrate your commitment to supporting University – Community Engagement, to be positioned alongside Engagement Australia, and to connect with the influencers, decision and change makers in University – Community Engagement.

The benefits for our partners are considerable and include:

• Excellent opportunities to maintain a high profile with academic and professional staff from Australian and international universities, not-for-profit organisations, and community groups, as well as business and industry associations;
• Promotion of your organisation through Conference collateral including internet marketing via e-lists, advertising and editorials in key industry publications and other public relations activities;
• Exposure for your organisation to delegates at the Conference in an engaging environment that encourages conversation by being away from everyday distractions;
• The opportunity to have issues critical to your organisation addressed, discussed, debated and progressed with a broad range of key players; and
• The opportunity to have your involvement, commitment and support for the Conference openly demonstrated and widely acknowledged before, during and after the conference.

We are offering your organisation a range of partnership and/or sponsorship opportunities, so that you can choose the opportunity that best suits your marketing strategy and budget. We want to work with you to make your partnership with Engagement Australia a valuable one and welcome tailoring a proposal to your needs.
