Round 2 of the Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement is now open – offering Australian universities the opportunity to demonstrate their impact, strengthen partnerships, and join a growing network of institutions committed to social responsibility.

To mark the launch, this Leadership Panel brings together senior university leaders to share insights and reflections on the Carnegie framework and its value for the Australian higher education sector.

Following the success of Round 1, in which UTS and ACU were successfully classified, the Carnegie National Advisory Committee (NAC) has enhanced the Australian framework to make it clearer, more relevant, and more accessible.
