Global Research Agenda session on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (SLCE)

Global Research Agenda session on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (SLCE)

We are excited to share an opportunity to participate in the upcoming Global Research Agenda session on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (SLCE).

This session is part of a global initiative by the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) to strengthen the study and practice of SLCE across educational systems. These sessions bring together practitioners, partners, researchers, and scholars to share their perspectives on the key questions and issues that should guide future research in the field. To date, 25 sessions have been held with over 500 participants from 34 countries.

Event Details:

Date: Wednesday, May 14

Time: 12.00 PM – 3.00 PM AEST

Location: Online (Zoom link provided upon registration)

This is the first of two sessions for the Australia and New Zealand region. The second session, focusing on the analysis of collected data, is scheduled for June (exact date to be confirmed). You are welcome to join one or both sessions—your insights are valuable regardless of your level of participation.

Insights gathered through these forums will contribute to a Global Research Agenda for SLCE, which will be shared at IARSLCE’s 25th Anniversary Conference in Durban, South Africa, this August. All participants who opt in will be acknowledged as contributors in the final report to be presented at the conference.
