This follow-up session will focus on analysing the data collected during the first event. You don’t need to have attended the previous session to take part in this one—all are welcome!

Engagement Australia is proud to support scholars and practitioners in shaping a forward-looking research agenda for our field. During this session, participants will work collaboratively to review and analyse over 275 research questions submitted by colleagues from our region. These questions highlight key research priorities that can help advance the theory and practice of service-learning and community engagement across education.

The insights generated will inform the Australia/New Zealand contribution to the IARSLCE Global Research Agenda, which brings together perspectives from similar sessions held in Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Africa. The final agenda will be presented at IARSLCE’s 25th Anniversary Conference in Durban, South Africa this August.

In this session, you will:

  • Collaboratively analyse, organise, and prioritise the submitted research questions
  • Work in small groups using a structured method developed by IARSLCE
  • Help draft the Australia/New Zealand section of the global research agenda
