This conference will celebrate the significant achievements that stem from partnerships between university and community. The conference will also focus on some of the contemporary challenges of university-community engagement at the two largest English-speaking Catholic universities in the world. These challenges include embedding community engagement in curriculum, engaging with community partners, and supporting staff and students in their community engagement journeys.
The conference is presented over three days to provide an opportunity for all to attend. You may register for one, two or three days of the conference, choosing the parts that are more relevant to you. There are offerings for academics and representatives from community organisations actively involved in community engagement and service learning programs as well as students and anyone with an interest in community engagement and service learning.
We have endeavoured to keep the registration fees as low as possible. The registration covers the cost of refreshments and materials, with an optional lunch on each day. We recognise that for some this cost may be a barrier to attending; there are a small number of sponsored places available – please contact us on acuengagement@acu.edu.au before registering
